Hi, I’m Hannah Fried, a hairstylist at The Root House. I proudly serve as an executive associate, helping bring our vision to life alongside Megan. I’ve been doing hair for 10 years this year, and it’s truly always been my passion. There’s nothing I love more than helping my clients feel confident, refreshed, and completely themselves when they leave my chair. Being part of this new journey with The Root House is something I’m incredibly excited and grateful for. Outside of the salon, I’m all about soaking up the simple things in life. I’ve been with my boyfriend Chris for 6 years, and we love spending time outdoors, whether that’s at the lake, by the river, or fishing whenever we get the chance. I also love being with my family and spending time with my dogs. I don’t have kids of my own, but my niece and nephews mean the world to me, I love them like they’re my own and spend as much time with them as I can. I can’t wait to have you in my chair and be a part of your hair journey!

Hi everyone!!  I’m so excited to introduce myself and welcome you to my chair at my new salon! My name is Shauna, I’m 21 years old, and I’ve been doing hair for 3 years now. Behind the chair, I specialize in blonding, extensions, and formal hair & makeup, basically anything that helps you feel your absolute best for everyday life or your most special moments. A little about me outside of hair… I love Jesus, my family, my friends, and animals with my whole heart. I’m super outgoing and truly believe there’s no such thing as a stranger, just friends I haven’t met yet.  This career is more than just hair to me. I genuinely love connecting with people and helping them feel confident, beautiful, and seen. There’s nothing better than watching someone light up when they look in the mirror. And if I’m being honest, one of my biggest goals in life is to grow into a woman just like my mom, God-fearing, strong, and amazing in every way. She’s my biggest inspiration in everything I do. I can’t wait to meet so many new faces and have you in my chair. Laura Ryan — Licensed Aesthetician 

Hi, I’m Laura Ryan, licensed esthetician since July 2023. I graduated from The Hair Academy in June 2023 and have worked in the industry since with a small break in between. I specialize in a variety of skincare services, including full body waxing, customized facials, lash lifts and tints, brow tinting, and body treatments. My goal is to provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for each guest, helping you look and feel your best. Outside of the spa, I’m a proud mother of two boys and have been married to my wonderful husband since 2013. I look forward to helping you achieve your wellness and skincare goals!

Hey, I’m Brooke!  I’m so excited to be starting this new chapter in the salon and can’t wait to meet all of you. A little fun fact about me.. I’m Megan’s little sister! I’ve been watching her create beautiful hair since I was a little girl, and that’s where my love for this industry first began. I love all things creative, whether it’s behind the chair, listening to good music, or finding new ways to express myself. My goal is always to make every guest feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely cared for from the moment they sit in my chair. When I’m not at the salon, you’ll usually find me spending time with my son and the people I love most. Family means everything to me, and I bring that same warmth and connection into my work every day. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and look forward to meeting new faces, building lasting relationships, and helping you feel your absolute best. Can’t wait to see you in my chair! 

Hey my name is Heather Vanderbrink and I'm the Social Media Manager for The Root House. I'm so excited to start this chapter with these wonderful and talented women, I've been going to Megan to get my hair done for 12+ years now and wouldn't wanna go to anyone else. I always joke with her about being with her since she worked in the shoe box so when she offered me this opportunity I couldn't pass it up!! I'm so proud of all the things this group of women have accomplished and I'm so excited to see them succeed in their endeavors.
